TCS’s Funniest Person Contest

It’s that time of year again, but with a small change in name! Our beloved Funniest Person with a Day Job contest will now be known as TCS’s Funniest Person—we found the original title was a bit too long for the check. This year marks our 18th annual contest, and the popularity continues to grow each year.

How to Enter: Participation is open to all, with just one requirement: 5 minutes of original material. Our panel of guest judges and professional comedians will score the performances. Win three rounds, and you’ll walk away with a $1,000 grand prize and your name will be engraved on the prestigious James Kerr Award.

Contest Dates: The contest will run every Tuesday for 7 weeks:

• April 15: Round 1


• April 22: Round 2


• April 29: Round 3


• May 6: Round 4


• May 13: Semi Final 1


• May 20: Semi Final 2


• May 27: The Final

How to Submit: Simply submit your entry online for a chance to secure a spot in the contest. Please note: Entries are limited, so be sure to enter early. The final date to submit is April 2, 2025.
