Steven Ho is a former ER Technician and current standup comedian who performs all around Los Angeles. Known for his viral “Tips from the ER” videos, Steven has over 12 million followers across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

About Jack Jr:

As the son of comedy club owners, Jack essentially grew up in the comedy scene, and over the years made the transition from spectator to on-stage performer. Over the last few years he has delved into the acting and writing world and has moved his way up the ladder to find himself traveling across the country featuring for the likes of Marlon Wayans, Brandon T. Jackson, Damon Wayans Jr and David Spade.

His most recent and iconic endeavor has been the creation of the NoHo Comedy Festival, a festival that attracted some of the country’s most talented comedians. Today, he can be found headlining in clubs across the country, guest starring in movies like “50 Shades of Black”, as well as participating in popular podcasts like “The Church of What’s Happening Now with Joey Diaz” and “Date Fails with Kate Quigley”.

About Amos:

One of the hottest comedians in Australia and now swiftly making a name for himself globally, Amos Gill divides his time between Australia and the USA, where he is a touring headliner.

A cherished Adelaide identity thanks to his four years hosting the Amos, Cat & Angus breakfast radio show for Australia’s biggest broadcaster Southern Cross Austereo, in 2018 Amos announced that he was giving up breaky radio’s notorious 4am rises and heading to the USA to crack a comedy scene in which he had already carved out a name for himself as a comic to watch.

After an impressive appearance as national runner-up in triple j’s RAW Comedy competition, Amos went on to earn nominations for the Best Emerging Comedian and People’s Choice awards at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe for his debut solo show, You’ve Changed. 2013 also saw Amos hand-selected by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) directors to host the prestigious Comedy Zone; showcasing four of Australia’s best new comedians. Amos has hosted the Australian Cinematographers Society Award-winning series, Footy Plus – which aired on Friday night TV as well as on the AFC’s digital platform to an audience that ranks among the biggest in Australian club sport.

He has appeared in multiple TV galas including the MICF Allstars Comedy Gala, ABC2’s Comedy Up Late, the Just For Laughs Australia series’ and has been seen on as a recurring guest on Ten’s Celebrity Name Game and Studio Ten.

About Ivan:

Ivan Decker, originally from Vancouver, now Los Angeles- based, is a writer, standup comic and actor, known for his sharp, polished, and multi-layered observational comedy. Ivan has had numerous television performances filmed at the Just for Laughs Montreal festival, the Winnipeg and Halifax Comedy festivals for CBC Television and can be heard across North-America on Sirius XM radio.

Ivan can also be seen and heard on the popular CBC radio program “The Debaters." Most recently, Ivan was named a “Comic To Watch” by TBS at the New York Comedy Festival, and subsequently made his American television debut on “Conan.” Ivan’s debut comedy album "I Wanted to be a Dinosaur" was the recipient of the 2018 JUNO award for “Comedy Album of the Year” which can be heard on all major streaming platforms, including iTunes. About Brett:

Brett was born in 92′ but we’re pretty sure he grew up in the 80’s. He’s upset with his generation and thinks you should be too. For Brett, frustration leads to comedy. If something rubs him the wrong way, you’re sure to get a laugh out of it. This approach has landed him jobs with TJ Miller, Jay Pharoah, Chris Delia, Brendan Schaub, Josh Wolf and Bobby Lee.

After winning ‘Yuk Yuks Top New Comic’ of 2016 and ‘Edmonton’s Funniest Person’ in 2017, Forte became a favourite at The Hollywood Comedy Festival, appeared at Just For Laughs and has since been banned by Canada’s main television network, CBC.

The jokes he doesn’t get to tell on TV he takes to the Roast Battle arena. Brett’s unique spin on Roast Battles has garnered the attention of fans and industry across the country and provides one of the most unique and raw experiences you can find in a comedy club today.

Born and raised in Taiwan, re-raised in America. With a cross-cultural perspective, and a goofy personality. Jason points out social absurdities within his family, upbringing, and the society he constantly tries to find his belonging in. Expressing his frustration and confusion on stage every night, in a way that feels the most truthful to him in that moment.

In LA, you can see Jason perform at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy & Magic Club, HaHa Comedy Club, and in NY, The Comedy Cellar. Whilst in search of his own style in the world of stand up, he was lucky enough to open for Ronny Chieng and Iliza Shlesinger. Annie Lederman is a standup comedian, podcaster, writer & actress. She is co-host of the hit podcast TRASH TUESDAY’s along with Khahlya Kuhn and Esther Povistky. When she isn’t hosting her own podcasts she is usually chatting with her best friends on theirs. About Vladimir:

With the name “Vladimir,” few people expect a Dominican from The Bronx to take the stage. His comedic style is the fruit of an immigrant Dominican family living in the cultural mecca that is New York City and is described as an elegant combination of urban grit and intellect. He began polishing his wit in the concrete jungles of The Bronx and Washington Heights and after graduating from Wesleyan University launched into Stand-up Comedy.

After his stand out performance at Just for Laughs in 2015, Vlad entered into a put pilot development deal to co-write, and star in a pilot based off of his comedy for NBC with Bill Lawrence and WB supervising. Vlad co-wrote the script with UNDATEABLE writer, Adam Styzikiel and recently shot the pilot directed by Phill Lewis. Vlad was the only one of his New Faces class to be chosen to perform as part of the CW Gala hosted by Howie Mandel.

In 2016, Vlad was named one of the Top 10 Comics to Watch by Variety and was honored at Just for Laughs.

About Corey:

Corey is a highly sought after national touring college, club and corporate performer. He was the winner of The Catch a New Rising Star, The Funniest Comic in New England and the 2017 Big Sky Comedy Festivals. Rodrigues has been featured on the hilarious Gotham Live, Laughs on Fox and True Tv’s Laff Mobbs Laff Tracks. In 2018 he released his Dry Bar Comedy Special, voted "best of the fest" at the Big Pine Comedy Festival and was picked as one of TBS’s Comics to Watch at the New York Comedy Fest.

In 2019 Rodrigues made his late-night TV debut on the Conan O’Brien Show. In 2020 he released another 30-minute Comedy Special for the EPIX series "Unprotected Sets." His comedy is honest and fun, constantly peppering in stories from his life and the lives of those around him. Mix that with a hilarious point of view and he’s able to talk about just about anything.

He has been entertaining since childhood. Growing up in Milton – a small suburb in Massachusetts – and spending a lot of time in the city at his family’s barbershop businesses allowed Corey to bring a diverse voice to the stage. About Eddie:

Eddie Ifft has been called one of the most underrated comics in America by the Onion and has proudly told jokes around the world to sold-out crowds in over 15 countries.

Currently, Eddie hosts his podcast The Bingle Show, which was a crowd-funded success on Kickstarter with fans from all over the globe supporting the purchase of a used “short bus” to be transformed into a mobile podcasting studio. Eddie co-hosted of one of the most successful podcasts in the comedy world called Talkin’ Sh*t, along with fellow comedian Jim Jefferies. Dan LaMorte is a unique stand-up comedian, and that’s not just because he’s on the spectrum. His career started young, at 19 years old, after suffering a career-ending injury as a college baseball player. As his star rose in comedy, so did his weight. He appeared on Fox’s Red Eye, AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, Getting Doug with High, and almost every drive-thru in the Tri-state area. He released two albums, Not Enough Pieces & Infect Me Once, both are still popular plays on SiriusXM and have amassed over a million streams on Pandora. By the time he was 23 years old, Dan had built an impressive resume, unfortunately, he had also built a 354-pound body.

But that year everything changed. After a doctor told him he had fatty liver disease, Dan decided to ditch the fat life and find the athletic drive again. Danger Cats Presents: The Danger Room – A safe space for dangerous ideas.

About the Show:

There are a lot of talented funny comedians across Canada and now it’s their chance to Close the Show. Some of the Comedians featured will have their first chance to headline a show and some will have headlined at one time or another. All comedians featured will be professional acts the have graced our stage or any other across Canada and the US. This is a big opportunity for many and I am sure they will not disappoint our audience.

Some may have performed at the Just for Laughs Festival, Halifax Comedy Festival, seen on TV or heard on SIriusXm Radio.

So, you want to be part of a Comedy show but don’t want to get kicked out? Well here is your chance.

Battle to the Funny Bone is the show for you! The host takes suggestions from the audience, then 2 comics have 3min to write on that subject. They then perform the set for you and you choose which comic wrote the best jokes and advances to the next round. we have 8 comedians do their best to make your suggestion as funny as possible and at the end of it there is only one left standing.

Also, for the best audience suggestion that individual will win tickets to a future.

About Adam:

Stand up comedy came pretty naturally to Adam Blank. "People have been laughing at me since I was a kid, whether I liked it or not. I figured I might as well get in on the joke." ​ 

A life-long comedy fan, Adam decided to "hit reset" at the age of 32, walking away from his day job as a forklift operator to become a stand-up comedian. Today, he’s considered one of the funniest comics in Western Canada. He has been invited to appear at both the Grindstone & Edmonton Comedy Festivals, and has performed in comedy clubs all across Canada. 

He’s been named ‘Edmonton’s Funniest Person’, and has had the opportunity to work with comedy heavyweights Drew Lynch, Bobby Lee, and Tom Green. In 2020, Adam was invited to be part of a Just For Laughs Originals comedy album recording. 

In addition to stand up, Adam appeared alongside Hopper Penn & UFC Star Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in the feature film Puppy Love. He also hosts Remember The Game?, one of the most popular video game podcasts on the internet.​

Combining his self-deprecating sense of humour with "in the moment" audience interaction, Adam’s laid-back, happy-go-lucky stage presence charms audiences of all ages.

Triple Threat Tuesdays

The Comic Strip’s version of amateur night. You will get the cream of the crop and chances are some that will flop. 

We never know who is going to show up and be in the show. There might even be a chance of you seeing the next Dave Chappell or Amy Schumer. Really not thinking that will happen but we need to sell tickets.

Also It’s called triple threat because it’s $5 Well Beverage, $5 selected Beer and a $7 Appetizer.
